About Us
South West Autohaus is celebrating our 5th anniversary, opening in February 2020 to provide better service for our customers and for the environment. Our customers are those who want less of the ‘same’ and more ‘different’ when it comes to customer service, experience and community responsibility.
Our Experience
Owner and operator Gareth Toddun has over 20 years automotive experience as a Factory Trained Master Technician and Certified Product and Service Automotive Trainer for two German Manufacturer's. Gareth spent 5 years adapting training modules directly from Munich and Stuttgart and certifying local dealer network Technicians and Service Advisors across the Australia.
Doug, a Geelong local, joined us in January 2021 and has over 14 years BMW experience with an Electric Vehicle Certification to ensure we are prepared for the future of automotive.
Fritz joined in our team late in 2021 as a Trainee Mechanic now fully qualified who shares a keen passion for German Vehicles.
Mitch another Geelong local has 5 years experience with Volkswagen and 5 years with BMW and continues to gain knowledge across all German Brands with South West Autohaus.
All of our team continue to attend training modules yearly on the latest technology for German Vehicles as well as in 2022 attended AutoMechanika in Germany and 2023 AutoMechanika in the UK which involves a week long conference all about future technology and specially electric vehicles.
And a special mention to our important team member Foredog Halle the French Bulldog, who is our dog bowl fresh water inspector with over 9 years experience of looking adorable and increasing our Instagram likes!
